Nicole Dionne, Creative Director/Executive Producer of PrimalScream Music, scours the clubs for new musical talent, and calls on some of the biggest composers in film to create original music for advertising. She is a hands-on in-studio producer, crafting tracks with the recording artists, putting her creative imprimatur on every piece of music.
A distinguished ad and music industry presence, Nicole counts a host of celebrated agencies, directors, clients, and artists among her collaborators. She has served as a judge for the Clios, AICP/MoMA, First 'Boards Awards, and Ear Awards, and as a panelist at music and entertainment conferences, including the influential CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival and Europe's premier music festival, the innovative Popkomm.
Nicole's latest feat is a complete rebranding of the Starz Network, launching as we speak. PrimalScream has created six new tracks that not only complete the new image, but actually inspired the entire production process. These songs don't come off of the flavor of the month's new album (that likely will be dated a year from now). This is original radio-quality music unique to the brand for which it was created.
With a seemingly infinite resource of ideas, composers, and collaborators, Nicole is passionate and knowledgeable, that rare ad bizzer who truly rocks. She is incredibly well-spoken and is living proof that great original music and great ads are made for each other.
